Begin inside the console app
Sony’s UK support describes Sony Pictures Core on PS4 and PS5. It contains films to rent or purchase, while eligible PlayStation Plus Premium members can browse a separate included collection. A film appearing in the app is therefore only the start of the decision. Read the action shown on its own detail page.
Think about the film first and the payment route second. Note the title and year, choose the intended edition, and examine whether the page offers included viewing, rental or purchase. This avoids treating a large promotional carousel as a list of everything covered by a membership.
Do not mix console and television offers
Sony also uses the Core name on eligible televisions, but this guide follows the PlayStation support workflow. A television’s promotional movie-credit offer should not be assumed to apply to a console account. Keep the device, offer issuer and redemption instructions together when comparing an advertisement with your own screen.

Do not plan an offline evening from a purchase label alone, and do not infer a particular picture or sound format just because the console supports that format elsewhere.
Use the library to resolve an existing order
Sony directs paid selections into My Library after the transaction. If you have already rented or purchased a film, check that area and the signed-in account before going through checkout again. Retain the order confirmation alongside the film title so support can distinguish payment from playback.
The source includes country and language information as different lists. A supported menu language is not by itself evidence that the service operates in a country.
