A news excerpt is not the complete programme
Canal Sur’s programme articles often point viewers to CanalSur Más for the complete edition. That distinction matters when a search result opens a short report on the broadcaster’s news site. The article can be useful context while the on-demand platform carries the longer programme selection.
Start with the show title and transmission date if you want the whole edition. For a particular interview or local report, retain the subject and approximate point in the programme. The same artwork or presenter can accompany many editions, so a broad collection name is usually insufficient for finding a missing segment.
Use the archive according to its programme identity
The broadcaster describes CanalSur Más as an on-demand destination that gives value to its audiovisual heritage and Andalusian production. This makes it useful for exploring older shows as well as recent broadcasts. It does not mean every item in the archive has an identical public rights window or a permanent downloadable copy.
When an archive item has several parts, inspect the episode labels and dates before comparing running times. A festive event, a nightly programme and a short compilation can be editorially different versions. Use the description on the selected item rather than assuming a familiar event title always means complete coverage.
Live coverage needs its own date and session
Canal Sur’s official event announcements have distinguished live sessions, subsequent on-demand access and other outlets such as the broadcaster’s YouTube channels or radio. Those announcements describe named editions of events; they should not be reused as the current schedule for another year.
For a new carnival, religious procession or cultural festival, find the current official announcement and retain the session date. A previous edition still available in the archive is not the running live feed. If you opened a replay, the existence of a live-channel button elsewhere will not change that selected programme into today’s event.
Confirm the app on the intended television
The service’s official introduction describes desktop and responsive mobile web access alongside applications for mobile and connected televisions. The correct installation depends on the television’s operating system and current store availability. A general multi-screen announcement should not be stretched into support for every historical model.
Before a planned viewing, open the desired item on the actual screen and note whether you used the native app, website or another broadcaster outlet. When seeking support, provide that route and the full programme identity. Keep a missing edition separate from a stream that starts and then interrupts; the first is a catalogue question, while the second concerns playback.
