Eventive: festival tickets, passes and screening windows

Plan an Eventive virtual screening by checking its organiser, ticket account, geographic rules, watch window and TV pairing.

Start with the festival or cinema offering the film

Eventive provides ticketing and virtual-screening tools for separate festivals, cinemas and other organisations. A reusable Eventive login can be used across participating events, but the ticket, pass or membership benefits belong to the offering you purchased. Buying a festival pass does not create a subscription to every film available through Eventive.

Open the actual screening page before ordering. Check the organisation, programme, permitted viewing location and availability dates together. Eventive’s audience guidance says it cannot override an organiser’s geographic restrictions without that organiser’s consent. A film appearing in discovery results therefore does not establish that your location or pass qualifies.

Distinguish unlocking from starting playback

A screening can give you one period to begin after unlocking and a separate period to finish after playback starts. Read the notice attached to that particular programme; the published device test has its own windows and explicitly says they are independent of purchased screenings. Do not reuse the test’s timings as a festival-wide promise.

Plan a full uninterrupted viewing session before pressing play, especially near the programme’s closing date. If a pass is involved, sign in first and inspect the ticket-order benefit. Eventive’s help describes Quick Order for applicable pass benefits; an absent benefit can indicate that the pass belongs to another email account or offering.

Test the complete television route before the event

Use Eventive’s free device-compatibility screening on the equipment and network you intend to use. It checks an actual protected video rather than only whether a homepage loads. Verify sound and any required captions as part of that rehearsal, leaving time to resolve a failure before a timed screening begins.

The Eventive TV workflow pairs an account with the TV application using the displayed code at watch.eventive.org/tv. Unlock the programme through its event page first, then look for the unlocked content on the television. A paired application does not purchase a ticket or extend the screening licence.

Recover an existing purchase through the right account

If a film asks for payment again, check the login used for the original order and open the Eventive Content Library at watch.eventive.org/me. The library lists unlocked and pre-ordered virtual content. Confirm the exact programme and date before placing another order under a different address.

For a location dispute or pass-rule question, provide the screening link and order details to the organiser. For a failed protected-video test, use Eventive’s viewing help. Keeping those issues distinct makes it possible to investigate the actual entitlement or playback failure without losing the remaining viewing window.

Questions answered

Does one Eventive pass include all Eventive films?

No. Its benefits depend on the festival or organisation offering that pass and the applicable screening rules.

Are the device test’s viewing periods the same as my purchased screening?

No. Eventive explicitly separates the test windows from the windows attached to purchased screenings.
