Identify the EXTRA account that was actually billed
Radio-Canada’s help describes ICI TOU.TV EXTRA as a subscription offering original series, films, documentaries, exclusive material and VÉRO.TV. Its guidance for a paid account not recognising access starts with the plan shown under Mon TOU.TV and Mon compte. An account opening successfully does not alone establish that it is the account carrying EXTRA.
Use the email associated with the actual subscription before purchasing again. Retain the receipt and billing route privately. A password reset can restore access to a login, but it does not attach a payment made through a different account or replace an unresolved service incident.
Installing a television app does not purchase EXTRA
The official Fire TV instructions distinguish access to the application from access to EXTRA content. The Google TV guidance also describes subscription billing through a Google account. These are separate decisions: the screen used for playback and the provider managing a purchase need not be the same thing.
If the application opens but an EXTRA selection stays locked, inspect the account’s plan and the subscription confirmation. Do not use a successful free video as proof that the paid benefit is attached. Conversely, keep a billing question separate from an app that cannot launch at all.
ICI TOU.TV currently provides a streaming workflow
Radio-Canada’s dedicated offline-help article says the web-broadcast rights for ICI TOU.TV do not allow downloads. This is particularly useful because a Radio-Canada account can also be used with other products: its general account help mentions downloads in the OHdio audio application. That feature should not be transferred to the television service.
A favourite, a remembered playback position and a downloaded podcast are not saved ICI TOU.TV episodes. If you require viewing without a connection, the published limitation belongs in the decision before a journey. Installing the app on a tablet does not create an offline right that the programme does not offer.
A Canadian location error needs its own diagnosis
The broadcaster states that ICI TOU.TV content is accessible within Canada because of its negotiated web-broadcast rights. A paid EXTRA account does not remove that territorial condition. Keep a location message separate from a locked plan indicator or an interrupted stream after playback begins.
For a location error occurring within Canada, Radio-Canada asks useful questions including the internet provider and whether the issue affects some titles or all content. Record the exact message, device and selected programme. That evidence helps the broadcaster investigate recognition of a real Canadian connection without inventing a worldwide entitlement.
Questions answered
Can I download ICI TOU.TV episodes because OHdio supports downloads?
No. Radio-Canada’s television help says ICI TOU.TV rights do not allow downloads; OHdio is another product.
What should I inspect if EXTRA stays locked after payment?
Check the plan shown in Mon compte and the email associated with the actual EXTRA subscription.
