SFR’s support names the replacement application
SFR’s services help says the SFR Play application is no longer available and directs relevant Box, mobile, 100% Digital and SFR Play customers to SFR TV. That statement is the useful starting point for someone returning with an old app name.
An earlier guide may accurately describe a SFR Play screen from its own date. It should not be treated as a reason to locate an old installer now. Follow the service’s current application and equipment guidance for the screen you use.
Keep application identity and package access separate
The support direction concerns where to view. It does not establish that every former SFR Play video-on-demand product, subscription or film library moved unchanged into SFR TV. Check the exact package and selected programme rather than treating the new app name as a complete catalogue-transfer rule.
For example, distinguish an old mobile-app instruction from a receipt naming a particular paid option. One asks where to sign in today; the other asks what the account currently includes. Preserve both names if you need support to explain the relationship.
Use the guidance for the actual television route
The same support hub separates mobile/tablet viewing, computer television, connected-TV applications and Chromecast help. Its SFR Play notice includes a mobile-to-Chromecast direction for Android TV customers. This does not verify native support on every Android television or device generation.
Start from the equipment category actually in front of you and inspect its current SFR TV instructions. If a programme fails, report the app, device, account package and message. A product-access question and an unsupported-screen question can look similar until those details are kept separate.
Questions answered
Is SFR Play still the application recommended by SFR’s support hub?
The reviewed hub says it is no longer available and directs the named customers to SFR TV.
Does that notice prove every former VOD product migrated unchanged?
No. The application direction alone does not establish catalogue or subscription-transfer terms.
