Name the thing you want to do
Tastemade’s July 2026 help distinguishes the direct Tastemade Cooking membership, formerly called Tastemade+, from hosted subscriptions still named Tastemade+. The direct product covers its website and app benefits. The hosted channel product supplies on-demand shows and documentaries within the selling platform and does not include the direct recipe benefits.
Before choosing an offer, decide whether your goal is watching food television, finding a complete recipe or planning meals. Those needs can begin with the same programme but lead to different tools. Write the product name and seller together; “I have Tastemade” leaves an important part of the account question unanswered.
Choose the app for the task
The current app help describes a shows-and-documentaries app on supported mobile, television and web platforms. It separately describes a Tastemade Cooking iOS app for recipe functions, with an Android version still described as forthcoming in that article. A television player and a recipe tool are different interfaces even when the same direct account is used.
Use official links to check what is now available for your device. If you want ingredients beside the hob, inspect the recipe route on the device you will use there. If you want an evening programme on the television, verify the viewing app instead. Do not reinstall the television player to solve a recipe-access question.
Turn a show into a practical cooking plan
First identify the episode and dish. A show may feature several recipes or an idea that is not intended as a complete set of cooking instructions. Find the corresponding recipe where provided, then review ingredients, quantities, preparation time and required equipment before shopping.
Keep a brief note of substitutions you intend to make rather than assuming a change in ingredients leaves the method unchanged. During cooking, use the recipe as your working reference and the programme for demonstration or inspiration. This prevents repeated searching through an episode while ingredients are already cooking.
Recover the right account before buying again
If a recipe page asks for a membership despite a working hosted video channel, compare the products before assuming the login failed. The official distinction explains why video access can be valid while direct recipe benefits are absent. If you hold a direct Cooking membership, return to that account and the appropriate app, keeping your receipt available for support.
